In Your Embrace

I fight back a tear as we dance to our song
Inside I'm running from what I'm not ready to be
I tremble silently trying to sort right from wrong
I hide from the flaws I dont want you to see
For my strength and guidance I turn to you
I carry more pain than you know
I coward back in fear when I know not what to do
I wear more scars than I want to show
And so many times you question the look in my eyes
As I tremble and shake just take my hand
 Together we'll learn to understand
My pain is more than just where I've been
I sometimes fear how it will all end
Our life together is slowly teaching me
In my darkest moments I close my eyes and see your face
 My troubles are set free
I find my rightful place in your arms
