In Your Absence

The core of me intently listens to that which, in your absence, I merely imagined having heard; Once again, I speak eloquently of that which, when you were away, I only mumbled to myself; And, surefooted, I pick my way in the dark where, without you, I tumbled and fell. Thank you.
