In Tune

i turned the world off
tuned out to tune in

a dog was barking
a baby was crying
birdsong flew too high to hear

silence sang along

we became this thing

something spoken of
in the bible

somewhere in the nowhere
a fluttering sunlight
danced over

the pursed lips
of a sleeping buddha
