in time I will heal
from life’s bitter sweet moments
if I take the chance

to remember all
can sometimes be rewarding
if I pay the price

forgetting the past
makes more room for the future
if I can forgive

1st THANKS so much for stopping by my writes/ above..interesting thought provoking writes yet not really haiku..sentences broken down into a 5/7/5 format...no 2 part structure, no season word...giving no concrete sensory images..some of us have a real good haiku teacher [past Pres of American haiku assoc] on facebook if you'd like to learn with us I'd be glad to add you? light & love always

This is not a "Haiku", it is a "Haiga" which means; (?? haiga?, haikai drawing) is a style of Japanese painting based on the aesthetics of haikai, from which haiku poetry derives, which often accompanied such poems in a single piece. Like the poetic forms it accompanied, haiga was based on simple, yet often profound, observations of the everyday world.
