In This Place

In this place, I find solace from my worries and care
This place where the guns bark, but still I have no fear
A meeting with loved ones, memories sweet fill my heart 
Though I find peace and happiness, wish we were not apart

This poem has a haunting sadness "this place where the guns bark, but still I have no fear" it speaks of great inner strength, you have a gift for words~~
