I don't really have a clue what is going on here!!
We’ve gathered in the country far away
from city traffic, and there is no rule
that says where we must park our cars. This day
will soon turn into dusk. We’ve left the school
and gathered in this field where grass is tall.
The big event that we’ve been waiting for
will soon ensue, and we’ll be in the thrall
of one whom we admire – whom we adore!
We’ve only heard him on the radio,
but now we’ll see him with our very eyes.
The crowd is hushing; soon begins the show.
Those sitting in the grass begin to rise.
He croons. Men are in awe; the ladies sigh.
This night we’ll all remember till we die.
