In the Year 3000
IN THE YEAR 3000
A new millennium I should say
You may ask is this worth to pray?
Sometimes I will say yes and nay
All because we don’t know the day
If we are not around should our children hope?
Or leave them to superstition as a cloak?
Is a question we should answer you and I both
With this millennium the next may not abode
Could I ever what holds next predict?
When all we know and have deplete
Is that millennium ever going to be?
Frankly and fact this we shouldn’t tease
