In the world of shadows, I traverse unknown paths

In the world of shadows, I traverse unknown paths, Where the murmur of time is born and dies, Faces that do not know the madness of dreams, Walk firmly on the ground of forgetfulness, Like rain falling on the deaf roof of a house In a monotony without song or color. I wonder, with a trembling heart, What it's like to live without the explosion of colors, Without getting lost among the stars, To dance on the edge of a thought That knows neither beginning nor end, Just an endless string of unfulfilled dreams. In quiet corners of the universe, Souls clutch banality in their fists, They have not known the madness of boundless love, That madness that makes you howl at the moon, To laugh at nothing, to cry without reason, To run into the arms of the wind like a leaf carried by longing. What lives must those people carry, What lands of monotony fill their steps, What dreams hide in their eyes That have never sparkled like lightning, On a summer night when everything comes alive And madness spreads its fiery wings. Ah, what cold emptiness they carry in their chests, Like a smooth stone, without cracks, Through which light might enter warmly, And how to be without drowning In the waves of doubt and reaching Unexplored shores, where dreams take shape. Their happiness, a monotonous song, A refrain repeated without echo, But I, I choose to get lost among the stars, To fall into the abyss of my own thoughts, There where madness carves its path, Like a wild river that knows no other way but forward.
