In the Wild

In the throes of it all-

It feels like I am being unguarded.

Slowly being haunted, and trying to hide.

Until the ghosts catch up, and I am stricken.

It becomes clear that those feelings of being followed-

Were just me being locked out of my own mind.

Left in the wilderness where there are delusions that grow more bold the deeper I go.

There is no one behind those trees that is willing to listen.

Only laughter that will disperse.

Along with my sanity.
