In the twilight of our thoughts, I reflect

Listen to poem:
In the twilight of our thoughts, I reflect, The next life, a shadow deeper than this, A realm where twilight turns to velvet night, We must prepare a light, a gentle beacon. Through the corridors of dreams, I wander, Through the echoes of unshed tears, Where ancient stars whisper secret truths, And shadows weave the fabric of the soul. A candle flickers in the abyss, Its flame, a fragile promise of tomorrow, We gather fragments of forgotten light, To guide us on the dark paths ahead. Memories, like echoes in a cave, Are lanterns in the labyrinth of time, Each heartbeat reverberates with loss, Yet also with the spark of whispered hope. The river of existence flows unbroken, Through dark valleys and unseen peaks, In each wave, clear reflections are found, Of love and sorrow, intertwined in grace. We plant seeds of luminescence, In the garden of the heart’s eternal dusk, Where petals of light bloom in the night, Gently breaking the veil of darkness. The world itself, a tapestry of shades, We sew the threads of golden dreams, To kindle warmth in the vast coldness, And light the way for wandering souls in darkness. With each silent breath, we weave, A luminous path through time and space, Preparing for the dark realms to come, With spirits lifted by the glow we create. A comet streaks across the pitch-black sky, A metaphor for the flame we cherish, A guide and guardian through the endless night, The beacon of the next life, born from the light of this life.
