In the Trap of My Own Confusion

I find it so difficult to focus,
My mind is always in a haze.
I want to get something done today,
But I feel like I am trapped in a maze.
My thoughts are always wandering,
I can't focus much longer than a minute.
I want to get something done today,
But I always fall back in it.
Into the trap of my own confusion
Into the snare of my cluttered mind
I'd really like to reach for help,
But I'm afraid of what I will find.
Some people think that I am copping out,
That this is just some big excuse
I'd really like to reach for help,
But I just think "What's the use?"
I feel like there is something more,
That's waiting out there for me.
Like so much life has passed me by,
That there is still so much more to see.
