In the Time of Men
Care was given
to the sentient beings
the man and the woman
and the children who followed.
They would work and sacrifice
some would lead and some would follow
some would rule and some would obey
but the mind grows, times change.
Worthy of life and growth
the populace would learn
as all creatures do
that we were made free
It is we, each of us
you and me and me and you
who mold the world anew.
