In the silence that flows like a river of shadows and lights

In the silence that flows like a river of shadows and lights, I don't say many words, but I feel everything, Every unspoken word, every silence that becomes an echo too loud for my heart, I care in a way people don't notice until they wake up without it, I extend my care not for recognition, but because it's woven into the fabric of my being, I stay when it becomes uncomfortable, I listen when the world sinks into deep silence, I give without being asked and bleed in places others barely glance at. Some call it grace, I call it a burden borne through harsh winds, Sometimes I wonder if perhaps I was built wrong, too fragile for a world, That has raised walls of sharp edges, where affection is traded like currency, And I watch with open palms, offering presence in a language few understand anymore, I don't belong to places where loyalty is a luxury, and sincerity is met with suspicion, So I walk alone not out of lack of worth, but because this kind of heart, Doesn't fit in superficial hands, it's rare, and rare things are often discarded, By those who never learned how to hold them without crushing them, in a world, Where genuine love is a star traveling alone through constellations of the unknown.
