In the Silence

The hour I first believed,
In my heart so vividly,
Remembering the day I saw your face,
My small fingers tracing the painting in the frame,
Climbing the couch just to touch,
This man I loved so much,
I didn't understand why,
All I saw was the love in your eyes,
And I was taken, I just believed,
I had no doubt in my mind you could hear me,
Where it all started, where it began,
I saw you as my very best friend,
Late at night I would ask you to come visit me,
That I would keep it our secret, between you n me,
When I go back to this moment, I understand,
In the silence I hear your voice, it's where we met,

Through thick and thin, the Lord will always be there for us. We all have to believe in something greater than us.
