In the shadow of the night that stretches its darkness around

In the shadow of the night that stretches its darkness around, With the whisper of stars dancing in a muted sound, I struggled like a bird caught in a silk dream, With a heart full of desires weaving oases within its seam. Beneath the studded heavens, your visage I did behold, Like a vision in dreams, deeply I would enfold, To lose myself in your embrace, an eternal pilgrim's plight, On shores of loneliness, where sands sip destiny out of sight. I soared on the wings of dawn, in your pursuit from afar, But the dream broke, left by harsh reality, ajar, In that moment, I yearned to halt time’s relentless walk, To be just us two, in a cosmos where meaning does not talk. Yet reality, like a merciless smith, Forges around me, a chain of yearning with no myth, In your absence, I, just a dreamer, Re-write myself in the chapters of time, a redeemer. Oh, if I could change even the set design, To embrace you, to be one united by fate's align, To paint your sky with the colors of a dream, And to stop time, in an eternal paradise, it would seem. But dreams dissipate like sand through the fingers, And reality, like a furious wave, it lingers and bickers, I wished to be above all defeats in stance, But I've fallen into impotence, a gap between beings, not by chance. From stardust, I wish to be reborn, In the dough of days, to rise, not be worn, Shielded from lost dreams, myself I seek to find, In your love, to transform, to raise myself, intertwined.
