In the Same Steps

We all have a cross to bear on the way out
of here. Just like Jesus walking to his death,
we all will walk in those same steps.
Life is given to everyone; you live it, and
then it's done.

Pick up your cross as soon as you
can, before it becomes heavy in your hand.
Do good work with your life on Earth.
You were blessed at the moment of your
birth.

Be true about the things you say and do,
because, at the end of life, there's only God
and you. At the end, and not before, it's God
who will meet you behind
death's door.
