In the Rain
Come rain do come here
Seeing you so joyous we’re
The sky is blue and clear
Your silken touch on my little hand
Your soft foot sounds on green and
Brown grass
As well as on the window glass
Calling us to a world of white and blue
Alphabets of red and violet hue
Where we walk and run bare foot on wet road with drizzling rain
Whispering a lyrical story of its pleasure and pain
Get lost into dream
As droplets reflect in sunbeam
A multicolored circular arc
Beautifying the whole garden and park
Suddenly flew across a black and white crow
Like me does he too love the rainbow
Now no more alpha and beta
Now under the red and white polka dot umbrella
I will look at you
Will listen to the wind that blew
Shaking the wet maple leaf
A poem of sounds so brief
Where did it go then
To get a pen?
I don’t know
The farmers there will now sow
Seeds
That according to where the soil leads
Will flourish into full grown tree shortly
On the wood of the red bench aches my knee
So no more
It’s already past four
Let me get back to my apartment
A little wet is my garment
... ... ...
At night in a chocolate dream the little one
Towards a red and green rainbow house he was about to run
Behind him a soft smiling sun
My story is just half spun
But if again begun
The sponsor of this poem it may frighten
