In the Physical

They traded ‘all that is’ for ‘point of view’
(Physical body) flesh have they for suits
Who they were was something they hardly knew
(Impressive story) tales have they for roots

Infinity reduced to a fraction
(Epic illusion) clocks have they for time
All their senses wanted satisfaction
(Tragic solution) blood have they for wine

Now they are prisoners of perception
(Fantastic mirage) eyes have they for sight
Control and power since their inception
(Incessant command) rules have they for rite

Wholeness springs such a glorious madness
Cut off with a beautiful sadness
