In the Name of Democracy
Our freedom fighters you have tagged terrorists
Daily with their bloods you stain our streets
In the name of democracy
With your constant bombings you have rendered our youths powerless and lazy
In the name of democracy you have taken away our peace
The land full of riches and honey
You all have reduced to nothing but a land where one cannot even kiss
In our presence you daily take the lives of our relatives
And you think this fire you think you are quenching will stop burning?
Leave us alone and let us rule ourselves the way we want
That democracy is working for you does not mean it will work for us
Instead of this continuous destruction
Let us be, that we may begin our own construction
Stop these killings and destruction
In the name of democracy.
