In the Moments That We Kiss

POEM " IN THE MOMENTS THAT WE KISS " by martin gedge

The fresh of mint the subtle hint

our lips like glue in wet cement

that leaves a lasting lipstick print

on loves endearing door

for eyes agree that all is dealt

could hold so close the heart could melt

to be entwined with feelings felt

of wanting so much more

that night could bring the falling stars

of wishes sweet like candy bars

on milky ways and moonlit mars

to dance upon the sea

for in the sky that breathes the soul

where smiles bloom and fires glow

the rain may pour but flowers grow

in gardens meant for thee

and like a song to hold the beat

you move in sync and follow feet

to stir the hot desired heat

of lust you can't resist

to touch and taste right from the vine

her skin so blush and ripe as wine

to let the chills run down her spine

in the moments that we kiss...
