In The Midst Of Winter

"In the midst of winter I found there was within me an invincible summer.
That makes me happy because it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me there’s something stronger something better, pushing right back."  Words by: Albert Camus


in the midst of winter 
a rush of wind comes my way 
moving me forward 

it doesn't matter 
the push and pull of the world 
I seek my own life 

each day I cradle 
the hours of my existence,  
giving them my best.
