This poem refers to one of Pablo Picasso's drawings that hung in my friend's home right above the Aga. Bim and Arthur Giardelli were and thus are famous Welsh Artists and it may seem, that this poem is more about them, than about Picasso's drawing. But pieces of art as such and as always are only what they meansto the beholder and this one lived with my friends and thus lives with me.

In the Kitchen This is about a particular drawing though I wish not to disclose which one exactly I mean for it matters so much that it matters no longer because my friends Arthur and Bim watch over their kitchen rest their bones now and fly in spirit together In the Pembrokeshire winds Little squiggles on paper of lovers drawn with life-long experience to master the craft of surreal expression what is and may yet be like a curious child expressing the world and it holds so much description of how Pablo adorned the evolution of Genuine genius Like the outlined lovers who hung framed on the panel the Giardellis had eloped and spent their lives painting collaging and sculpting in the former Warren School House where they played ping pong on a table like soul mates’ embrace in the gallery with Pablo adorning their life Art work is what it means to the viewer ink drawn on canvas beholding the meaning depicted straight into the heart and the soul when they join essence symbiosis along On a stone wall over the Aga it had lived as they had Breakfast with Picasso each every day 25th April 2017

Thank you for that Darren. A true story. And by the way, I am somewhat insane and proud of it. It prevents madness. Kind wishes, Kai

Thank you Probir. Bim and Arthur died in their late 90's and are buried in a quaint old cemetery of a medieval church right next to their gallery. I am sure that their love for each other and love for the arts made them live such a full, long and wonderful life. Many wishes, Kai
