In the Jungle
They trekked to another part of the jungle to find a
Way out, Judy seemed out of breath
As they clawed their way
Through thick vegetation on that hot day
Would they survive?
For lunch they would share a tuna sandwich
The sky was starting to turn gray
They figured they were somewhere in the Amazon
When the going gets tough, the tough get going
There were tears and fears and doubts
In their eyes you could see they were weak
Surviving did matter- but time was running out and
Rations were sparse
Exhausted and running on empty
They heard the thunder as the sky opened up
..... then they saw the village up ahead
They would survive after all...miracles do happen
