In the heart of autumn, under the cloudy and cold sky
In the heart of autumn, under the cloudy and cold sky,
I drink the bitterness of wanderings, of lost hopes,
Your betrayals, like poison, seep into my soul,
And every verse, every word, is an echo of silent wounds.
The night, with its mystery, brings memories and longing,
And in every star, in every moonbeam, I see you,
The melancholy of the evenings, like old wine, envelops me with a slight shiver,
And I drink from the black goblet, the bitterness of a love that no longer comes.
You are like a wandering wind, blowing against the windows of my heart,
An echo of promises, of shattered dreams,
And even though time passes, and the wounds seem to heal,
They remain like a scar, a reminder of the endless days.
The dawn brings with it the hope of a new beginning, light and peace,
But in my soul, your shadow persists, like an imprint,
And even though I try to forget you, to move past everything,
In every space, you are placed,
Like a refrain, an old melody, resonating in silence, without end.
Cinderella of my heart, fleeing from reality, from pain,
Seeks refuge in dreams, in worlds where love is eternal,
But, like in fairy tales, at midnight, she returns, with fear, with hope, always waiting for a change,
And so, my soul dances between hope and melancholy, in an eternal search.
