In the Garden of Bodhisattvas

In the garden of bodhisattvas
The heart sings the rapture of trees,
Of gems from the earth,
Opening in effervescent
        splendor and wonder.
A cacophany of suffering
Sings its siren's song
As the ground trembles
With the morning's first light.
