In the Forest of My Dreams
I’d dip my brush in colours
Orange, Red, Green and Blue
If I could only live this life again
My entire world painted anew
I’d run along a path crowned in orange
As the earth meets the setting sun
And colour every day in different shades of green
Floating within the depths of the unseen
I’d add a dash of gold , a sparking light
To every shade of blue in a clear sky
The silver dust of fairies in the moonlight
Sprinkled with dollops of kindnesses hue
I’d paint the red of love unstinted
Passing it on to every living soul
Into tomorrow I sow seeds of peace
As the forest of my dreams unfold
