In the Fast Lane
Move to the left
Move to the right
Where are you going?
All these signs and directions
Getting turned around
Trying to figure out where im going
Or where im bound
If I didn't look up
Would I miss my exit(exit)
If I rerouted would my GPS catch it (catch it)
Or would I end up lost
And someone found me
Get back to my destination finally
On the way home
Can't stay in this fast lane
On my own
Riding in the fast lane
Cruising by
Need to reduce the limit
To survive
All the curves and turns
And the twist
Will have you in the midst
Slow down
Take your time
Rushing will leave you
Blind and behind
Blinded by the light that flashes
And you yield
Because you realize you want to live
Take a shift
Switch the gears
And park it
For a while
Start it back
Reverse it and then drive
If you dont have it pull over to the side
And get it together
You have to be prepared to drive
In any kind of weather
Its sort of the story of your life
If you driving
At least drive right
Pay attention, its serious did I mention
You can put your feet on the gas and then brakes
You can control the car and your life
Regardless of your mistakes
You've made it this far
In the car and on earth
Even if you had to reverse
Or come to a stop
You have to try and undo this block
Riding in the fast lane
Cruising by
Need to reduce the limit
To survive

Will have you in the midst

Look everyone listen ??
Focus , pay attention ?
Don't lose sight
On what you doing
Even when life seem confusing
Trying to get in and out of lanes
Wait your turn
Just dont complain
Things could be worse
But its not
Be thankful for what you got
Reduce the amount of time you spend
Driving full force
Gone in the wind
Or take it
You can park
In a space
That you can face
All day
You feel secured
Knowing you'll be ok
Riding in the fast lane
Cruising by

To survive
