In the End

Darling come, its time for bed Close your eyes and rest your head Burning bridges learn a song Patience now, it won’t be long Reaching out a stranger’s face You can never fall from grace Hold my hand, and see the sky You and I will sanctify You should know by now That things turn out alright Things turn out alright In the end Sweet surrender blades of grass New mown hay and sassifrass Meadows bursting bloom in spring Give your heart a diamond ring Laughter rings in summer air Lips of ruby kisses share Sunshine gleaming happy eyes Breathless wondering surprise Moments run beyond our sight End of days, and end of night What it is you choose to bring Dry your eyes and start to sing You should know by now That things turn out alright Things turn out alright In the end
