In the End

I hope you get what you deserve
You’ve torn a heart with little to preserve

You walk with your head held high
Your ego is big enough to touch the sky

You won’t admit to your fault
It all felt right until I caught
A glimpse

The heartbreaking sight to behold
I gave you my all and then you sold
My love.

I hope you get what you deserve
You’ve so much beauty to preserve

Don’t let your hopes get so high
But reach your hands to the sky

For this is anything but your fault
I know it was fun and you got caught
Up in the moment.

A love that was something to behold
You fell for the act and to him you sold
Your love.

In the end, we all get what we deserve.
