In the End

In the end
I feel closer to you than ever
the touch of your hand
no colder than before
the look of your eyes
still staring through

In the end
I always knew we would be together
through change of the season
though never for better

In the end
they brought me down
they butchered my name
they blamed it all on me
I wish you could have seen
How I cried for you

In the end
I forgive you now
In the end
You buried us both
But now we are together forever
In the end it all came together
