In the Doom Light

In doom light, I see all that is & Ever was, I see all the façades Stripped away n callouses Tearing away all the love and hate In doom light, the endless white No sun, not in endless, twilight light The ash drifts in sinister currents There in a chair out of nowhere A figure sits, a gray shadow in this doom light The light before the end of time When all is done, all is said, all wars have bleed Everything has been lost or completed Every word that should have been said was left for dead The end draws nigh, the light of nothing, shadows cower A dead light of nothingness clings to all in shades of bitter white In the doom light stands I, a witness to the ending of time My non-corporeal form drifts in between I see all in doomed sight, at the end of reality Or make mine, one of Creations demise I watch all in the fading light of yesterday's sun A Nova on the horizon The end of days has come I see all in the doom light The light of dawn before time was spun The figure sitting The effigy of every deity Lost in the approaching storm of nothingness All awash in the doom light I see all that is or ever was I see all the façades Stripped away n callouses Ripping away all the love, hate In doom light, the endless white No sun, not even twilight Just endless dead light The ash drifts in sinister currents There in a chair out of nowhere A figure sits in gray shadows, In this doom light The effigy of every deity I linger for a little...while longer Going blind in the doom light!
