In the Darkness Secured Be Love Clear Ladder
we thirst...
run to and fro
the light burning in my heart
this light guided me more surely then the light of the moon
he lay waiting for me in a place where no one else appeared
guiding night a light more lovely then the dawn
a light that has been united ever before
transforming to now into wine
upon my flowering breast there he lay sleeping
which I kept for him alone
I embraced him from a breeze blowing from a forest
when this breeze blew in from the forest blowing from my head
with his soul from his gentle hand suspending all my senses
I abandoned forgetting myself
laying my face on my beloved
all by myself forgotten with the lilies of the field
we embark on tender moments such as these
In the darkness secured by love's clear ladder
what does it even matter
we must be willing to prepare for the great here after
be not afraid to live by faith we all must face
today if you hear his voice harden not your hearts
look deep into this realization of faith
turn from your evil ways & embrace truth
the realization of God's saving love from up above
