In the darkness of the night, as dreams descend

In the darkness of the night, as dreams descend, And stars whisper mysteries of old, I long to slumber next to you, my dear, To entwine my fingers with yours in our own quiet. My hand touching your face in moonlight's glow, Metaphors flow from my lips, poems woven in reverie. Your eyes, windows to unfathomed worlds, Whisper secrets scattered into the air, visions full of yearning. I lay my head upon your arms, my haven of calm, Listening to the tale of your day like an old melody, Drawing unseen contours on your skin with my hands, Anticipating the two words that will carry me to paradise: I love you. In your embrace, I find solace, an island of peace in a tumultuous ocean, I could watch over the entire night, sheltered in your smile. Listening to the beat of your heart, I lose myself in its rhythm, Blushing as your eyes ensnare me in a cascade of stars. Laughter and whispers dispersing in the night, Embracing, swayed by flowing dreams. Your eyes, jewels that sparkle in utter darkness, We lose ourselves in gazes, the goodnight kiss sealing a shared dream. And in your embrace, the world becomes small, The night transforms into an endless tale, I want to fall asleep in the same bed as you, So I can bid you goodnight at each sunrise.
