In the dark depths of my mind
In the dark depths of my mind,
Where echoes of unfulfilled desires still reverberate,
I stand and contemplate the cold walls of my heart,
And I tell you, with a voice dimmed by melancholy,
That my love is an eternal autumn, a game of shadows and dead leaves,
A place where spring never rises.
Wrap your fragile threads around yourself,
Do not let them intertwine with mine, for they are threads of darkness and despair,
If they were to touch my string, they would reveal the abyss within my soul,
An abyss that knows no light, only cold and emptiness.
Look at my scars, these maps of pain and loss,
And be cautious when you look into my eyes, for they are windows to fierce storms,
Once you fall into these eyes, you will fall from the heavens,
And it will hurt more than anything else,
To stand beside my heart, a locked door, a mystery that will never unveil.
Keep your hands to yourself, I do not like the fleeting spark
When they collide with mine, a reminder of an intimacy I cannot bear,
Help yourself, do not lean on me, for I am a crumbling rock,
Do not try to be my friend, for my friendship is a mirage in a desert of loneliness.
Do not smile in front of me, your smile makes me weak,
And for your own good, let your guards down, do not rise too high,
For you will fall and be crushed by the truth that it was all a lie,
A theater of shadows where love is just an illusion.
Be selfish when you talk to me, show arrogance, not sympathy,
Care less about what you can do for me, for I have nothing to offer,
Do not expect too much from a heart that is empty,
And please, love yourself, do not fall in love with me.
In this universe of words and silences,
I warn you, with a voice of wind and rain,
That my love is a ghost, a siren's song,
A call that will lead you to the abyss,
And in this abyss, you will find only my shadow,
And a heart that has ceased to beat for anyone.
