In the Dark

In The Dark
By R.e. Taylor

I love laying in the dark
Somewhere between sleep and awake
Between life and death
That lets me travel
Throughout this world
And so many other worlds
But never with a fear
No thoughts or ideas
Just me and nothing else
I may travel a billion miles
Or maybe just across the room
It all depends on where my mind allows
But I will always return
To my own room when the sun pours in
It is just too bad that I will not remember
Where I was or what I did
Because I am sure it was glorious
