In the Cold Winter

Icy,icy land,
Heapy ,heapy hills,
Drippy,drippy fountains,
Stilly,stilly leaves,
Sturdy,sturdy trees,
Frosty,frosty grasses,
Coldy,coldy houses,
Freely,freely chimneys,
Clingy,clingy doors,
Wintry,wintry air,
Chilly,chilly persons.
Two freezing persons,
Clad in winter wears,
Sure to be puppy lovers,
Obvious first time lovers,
Out in a lane,
Gazing at nature,
Then,staring at selves.

As I read the first several lines I wondered, why the repetition? what is it telling me, to what is it leading? Very nice how the answer was revealed--it's two lovers; they are simpatico, new lovers, puppy love, and what one feels, the other feels, they are one with each other and for this brief moment, at least, one with nature.

Absolutely, that's the intention! The suspense and how creatively your questions were being answers!
