Trapped in the wind, sheltering silence,
Bursting with grace – truth sighs,
Spirit’s music, pouring from the night,
Easy flow of yesterdays verity,
Gushing light over the moments,
Raining dew, stirring the purposes of shadows,
Who believe in the sun like the wind,
Dancing on the forest, brave
As the oceans who withstand the seasons,
Pleasant and reasonable,
Erasing the darkness with a grace
Beyond dreaming – tis’ mercy grieving…
Blessed by the moon’s wisdom,
Effortless rustling through the oaks,
Strong as the music from hearts who know,
Beyond the edge of the forests,
Where shadows, bold and brilliant,
Sing hope through each rainbow,
Melodies reminding every heart,
When light moves from its hesitant thoughts,
Trembling with laughter, on seas of fire,
Erasing fear – promising faith to the spirit…
It is a war between the sun and the moon,
Needless to say, the winner prays,
Convincing the wind that everything
Begins again – just beyond the hours
After the sun rises or sets,
Creating the fire that ripples through the heart,
Ending all regret,
Responding to the night
With whispers of graceful mists,
Who blend the dew with the tune,
Loving the truth, who wins in June,
Losing in February,
When the night remembers no more,
The beating of a heart who colors the night,
In the silence of snow piling up,
As the winter reveals the sanctity of shadows,
Who lift their gaze to smile,
Hesitant, shy…. Like the ghostlike rain
Who feeds the stars their glow,
Reassuring us all that even the stars must know,
Wherever the sun rises, wherever the moon shines,
There is a silent prayer answered….
It is all in God’s hands,
We’re all a part of His plan…
God guides the sun, the moon, the light,
Who remembers that grace is more beautiful,
When we don’t struggle and fight
Against the urgency of His tender touch,
The urgency of a love far surer than day or night,
A love that supplies the very best light!
