In the Arms of a Stranger

I saw you today in the arms of another man
you were not the same
were did our love go
what is your game

my anger i had to endure
my desire turned into fury
i buried my heart beneath my chest
forgot the words you told me you are the best

I saw you today in the arms of another man
it almost killed me to watch
as you leaned upon his shoulder
i remember the way i use to hold her

A feeling came over me
love and jealousy
my heart hurt
my eyes cried
my whole being sighed

Then something happened
i remember i love you
i remember i trust you
i thought to myself maybe this is best
if he loves her more than me
then i would carry her to him with my feet
i would bless her and he

i trust your decision
if he is the one
then who am i
so on the park bench i cried
maybe it is for the best
then i hit my chest
trying to suppress the anger
of you being in the arms of a stranger
