In Temporary Illusion

Through temporary delusion
of make believe love I stumbled
In dreams, to arms of illusion
tripping on deceit I tumbled

Your words begged me to follow you
through the allure of moonbeam trails
A kiss of honey suckled dew
your whispers gliding on night's sails

Fingers trembling in desired lust
bodies arcing within breath's sighs
Shadows pulsing forward in thrust
climax erupting in dawn's rise

You became the threads of darkness
my emptiness stitched in your seams
Alive only in the starkness
sewn in the make believe of dreams

Some relationships are nothing but make believe - nightmares that are better to wake up from sooner rather than later. Love this dark write. It could be taken as literal or as a metaphor.

Some people don't know what love is and crave attention I think! I was played but it's ok, the heart will heal!
