In Sunshine and Men's Glances

Sometimes, in my mornings, or in my afternoons and evenings, or in my nights. I imagine I can see you walking, striding so easily, confidently, and bountifully. Sunshine goes where you go as do men’s glances which linger, gratefully, often indecently, perhaps revealing in their imaginings the deepest doubt of all of those the sight of such a woman as you must sometimes visit on men; their fear of failure. And, sometimes, I imagine you making breakfast for your children.
