In Solitude
Cobbled lanes running aimlessly
To shy mystic hill tops
Where I sit in solitude
Dangling my bare feet
Gazing at the map below
By marking my life from years ago
In places I’ve been to
And for the time to come
To ride on wings of birds
Discovering secret caves
Where I lie and unravel
Riddles on endless waves
Floating nights of countless stars
Tasting sunrise sweet light
In sheer submission
Moving to tunes of the wind
Bathed in reverie
Learning to heal my scars.
