In Searching

Within a world, to live and not exist
a whirlwind through the days in careless haste;
in beauty seek the moments, not to waste
but single one in glory sadly missed.
In searching comfort, solitude was kissed
and sunlight from beyond these walls I faced;
the strongest tie, another touch replaced,
immediacy I could not resist.

Rewind, rewind what lives behind the eyes
to hold back all the forces living here
and recognize this beauty unsurpassed.
Within this world, to live without disguise
is to embrace, and then abandon fear;
remind, remind – one love can ever last.
