In Search of Your Star
Did you ever think what it takes to be a star
You must have a talent, more than the rest
Set a goal, and with luck you might go far
Rise above all the others, and be the best.
You’ll be honored by many for years to come
But with time your fame will eventually fade
And your life, only remembered by some
Even though you thought you had it made.
When a generation or two have passed
You’ll be forgotten. as if you weren’t there
So, it is important to make every moment last
To live in the Now, with purpose and care.
Fame is illusive, be content just to live
Make a difference to those whom you hold dear
Think not of yourself, as your love you give
Stop longing for fame, your missions made clear.
There are billions of souls on this great earth
Struggling to live in their own little space
To help just a few will give your life worth
And when done, in heaven, you’ll find your place.
