In Search Of: Private Ryan

In Search of: Private Ryan

Many days have passed, many nights have gone,
Many men have fallen, but many stand on,
Fighting for what’s right, fighting for whose gone,
Fighting for those far away, preserving our peaceful dawns.

Remember those brave men, far away from home,
Very close to the enemy, but very close to alone.
Remember then, letters to them, with each word,
Make them feel, closer back to home.

So very good Noel... so true as well ... Although I was never there, your words in my mind capture the scene exactly and I do agree with the words you have chosen and the picture, well of life at that time for those involved, it paints a picture... DAMO
