In Sanctum

In a cave where
Light is water
Sight is ruler
Of disorder
Lest the body
Cross the border
Bumps and bruises
Soon discover

In a cave where
Light is air
The next step
May not be there
See the truth
Use some care
In dark places
Light is air

In a cave where
Light is life
One mistake
Your cold as ice
Don't find yourself
In a hole
Where light is the master
And you it holds

Hi John, this is a skillful write and it really kept me engaged to the end. Posted 3 more today just for you. Having written over 1,500 poems, there never seems an end in sight. God bless, Maureen

Beautiful analogies John, you make it sound so easy but the subject matter is complex and you wield your pen with skill. Love, Elizabeth
