Arrogance, sarcasm and suggestive wit, Some people in this world I admit, Think is so cool and fun, But actually in the long run, One day they go too far, and have to quit.

Worse than all qualities mentioned, is Harming others physically, who don't think our way. . Especially violence by groups acting like Hitler youth, pummeling other people and allowing only their point of view. It's the I will kill you if you don't think my way. Also, encouraging others to get violent. Scares me, Peace be yours, Panagiota

It's more a thing of are you so stupid you can't understand what i mean, and stupid is one thing i'm not! However everything is now past tense! Violence and Hitler are abominable, unspeakable and inhumane - - he killed millions, why because didn't want the Jews in Europe, so lets exterminate them - a shameful part of History. It's also the arrogance - the few who understood the somewhat suggestive wit were the only audience that were appreciated hurtful yes, as i was nothing but polite and careful, but sorry, no, in fact very glad no more contact. Thanks for your kind comment Lindsay, Blessings Jennifer.

there are many bullies from school age on and it often makes me wonder if it's taught or instinct....my children, as well as the kids i bus know i do not put up with this type of behavior and i try and teach them all to get along within the metal structures of the bus...good poem!

I understand Jen, but being a New England-er and Irish I was raised on wit and good Banter. I would never pick on somebody I didn't like, and love when some one can make me laugh at myself. But, I must admit one must know the difference between witty and rude. Good piece !

I agree with you Jerry, a good bit of banter is good, and being witty in a fun way is cool also, and yes, being able to laugh at oneself makes you a bigger person, however all totally different to arrogance and sarcasm which is the lowest form of wit - abhorrent.. I had a friend once who was very sarcastic, at first it seemed a bit of innocent fun until it just felt cruel. In that case to preserve myself it was me that had to quit the friendship. This poem caused me to ponder.
