In Rememberance
There is something different
in the air today...
It happens every year...
How memories of trauma visit me...
I question...search the clouds
...We must forge ahead-be brave
it's a knowing deep inside...
Our smiles shine on and on...
deep shelter found in love and
happiness where you'll often find...
Though I maybe sad...My inner child
she will not let you ever see...
It's the secrets of the wardrobe...that
all come back to me...
I understand the things that were done...
People somehow forgot to love...
So they took a child pure of soul...
...and they tried to make it dark...
Well only at this time every year...
does arrive this disturbing lil spark...
For this inner child - trauma became a friend...
It hasn't let me forget...It all happened
so we can't pretend...
Trauma teaches us - and reminds us
where ever we may go...
Where ever our memories tred...
An angel will follow and defend...
Dear reader if you have moment...
to understand my story...I have left out
a lot...a lot of the gory...
But as child abuse in my country is
rampant...The authorities unable...
to keep this at bay...
I ask you search a poem I wrote...
2006 Birthday Warning...and
...UN report invisible victim...
...Last goodbye to my inner child...
My heart goes out to any child
that is abused in anyway...
Ultimately there are good and bad days...
Ultimately forever its a crying shame...
