In Recognition of Folly
Dreamt shallow tenderness doth ruin willingly given
solitude driven to craving of witness nude touch,
goosebumps linger long after depart whilst shut
down pump; falls spring forth pleasurably as
moist proposition to enter slender shivers marrow frozen,
diluted passions pursue hollow tunnel
vision blinded by dual flashed beams seemingly strewn across
screen yet set in place to mingle, tongue idle presently.
Probable speak various stages of too much, known mattress
rest in lonely backyard beneath half-hidden stars, sometimes
wish all lights would go out, yet such to be heard rare
this may end with: fortify speculation based not on
abstract assumptions or drunken emoticons, rather
shatter truth in recognition of folly.
