In Praise of the Bumble Bee

In Praise of the Bumble Bee Taking pollen from the flowers, Working all the daylight hours, Praise the humble bumble bee, Fertilising crops for you and me, Humming on your productive flight, Busy, busy, busy where you alight. Without the bee would we survive? Collecting nectar for its hive, To keep its brood, and us, alive; Working all the daylight hours, Taking pollen from the flowers. Barry Stebbings 2/07/2016

Thank you, Jan. I think we sometimes forget how dependant we are on even the tiniest of creatures. Barry.

Such a great tribute to one of our earth's creatures we seldom think about praising. But they are very important and such hard and dedicated workers, and I like the way you captured that. Nicely done! 7 Sandra
