In Poetry I Find Salvation
It has saved me
from the
depths of despair
that emanate
from living
in this world

It has taken me
to a higher level
where I live
in freedom, happiness
enjoying each day
as it slowly passes.
It has

opened my mind 
taught me wisdom, 
enlightened me.
I need it 
like I require
food and air,
am grateful

that I found her.
